God damnit why does commercial software always have to be a bitch to install on Linux

PS. Yay Maple. Now it's working, at least.

Note to self: For problems with libc.so.6 see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=283473&highlight=maple (This is also the problem Together had. The installer used by them, and probably other things, sucks.) Not that I expect to remember making this post when I next need it...
